Q: Will steam cleaning damage my carpets?
A: No, in fact quite the opposite. Hot water extraction (steam cleaning) is the method preferred by most carpet manufacturers. It is considered to be the best method of removing embedded soils and contaminants.

Q: I’ve tried to remove the salt stains from my carpets with very little success. Any suggestions?
A: Try using white vinegar and a soft scrub brush. Rub in and blot with a white towel and it’s gone. Your carpets may smell like vinegar for a couple of days but it’s well worth it.

Q: Why should I have my carpets stain protected after they’ve been cleaned?
A: Stain protection forms an invisible shield around the fibres, allowing water and oil-based stains to be cleaned away without a trace. This leaves your carpets easy to maintain, easier to clean — and looking NEWER longer! You can think of it as an insurance policy that you WILL use.

Q: Why is it that when I’ve had my carpets cleaned in the past they looked great for a couple of weeks and then looked the same as before they were cleaned or worse.
A: There are a couple of reasons for this. One of the most common reasons is some cleaners use high ph cleaners and do not thoroughly rinse the carpets or they run the cleaning solutions through their machine. The best way to prevent this is to pre spray the carpets with a neutral ph cleaning solution and to apply a stain protector once they’ve been cleaned.
